Turkey: (Former Ottoman Empire) Stuck in The Middle

Turkey, the former Ottoman Empire, which was destroyed by Western Interests at the conclusion of European (World) War 1 in 1914 has been for several years trying to become a part of the European Union. Why I ask? The Ottoman Empire was destroyed from within by the use of enemies of the Ottoman Empire becoming a part of her military.

Is it any wonder today, that Turkey remains on the surface a secular state but deep Islamic veins reside at her foundation. Knowing this the European Union have been playing with Turkey, keeping here as an ally and thwarting at every move here European ascension.

Unknown to most, Turkey (Ottoman Empire) once fought Russia (Crimea War), as the Ottoman Empire ruled most of the Mediterranean region, Iran (Persia), North Africa and a substantial swathe of Europe (see maps at links below). The purpose for Russia attacking the Ottoman Empire was primarily so that Russia could get access to the Mediterranean (Branch of the Atlantic Ocean) which led to the Crimea War and the British, French & Others coming to the aid of the Ottoman Empire to defeat Russia.

Do you remember our Sister, Mary Seacole, who went to the aid of Soldiers fighting in the Crimea and who is so disrespected in the annals of history for her contribution? I would hope today, that no SISTER, will be looking to repeat what she did!

Well, today, as stated in a previous posting, why would Turkey permit American Military ships to pass through the Dardanelles and the Bhosporous to enter into the Black Sea?

In response to Turkey’s actions, “Russia has denounced a US and NATO presence in the Black Sea, which can only be accessed via the Turkish Straits, as a provocation
